Arduino
In the fourth and final workshop we were introduced to Arduino. This free program is an "electronics prototyping platform with a series of micro-controller boards and the software to program them". During the workshop, we learnt how to use the Arduino board, as well as connecting it into the laptop and using the software.
Notes from Class
Using the software, we allowed the Led Pin to be turned on and off. Also it was turning on at different rates which was all controlled because of the coding.

In my class notes above, it explains what was done for these light sensors to switch on.

Below are videos that I took. It shows how the different led pins turn on and off at a different pace.
I scanned the following pages from the "Getting Started with Processing" book. I found these very interesting since I was able to learn the different techniques used to represent these codes in a more interesting way.
While looking at different projects Arduino has been used in, I came across this very interesting video on YouTube.
